It is quite heavy as it is shipped and for most people it will be delivered via trucking company and not UPS due to the weight. Trucking companies are not known for gentle care of their freight so sometimes the box looks pretty beat up when it arrives. The good news is that for most people the packaging is the only thing damaged and the actual machine is just fine.
